A/C Compressor clicking on and off
So this isn't F-body related.. but hoping someone can chime in..
I have a 1970 Chevelle with a 2005 LQ4
I just installed a vintage air system, which uses a Sanded AC compressor which is a fixed displacement compressor.
I'm having an issue where the AC compressor clicks on and off frequently, probably about every 2 minutes. I really notice this whenever I am driving on the highway.
I got some AC gauges and took a pictures of the pressures I'm getting - can someone tell me if the pressure is too low? or too high? Causing the compressor to constantly kick on/off?
Left gauge is Low pressure side, right gauge is high pressure

You are on the low side, I'm not familiar with the vintage air system but I would add a few more ozs until the low pressure side stays 28-32 steady with the fan set at high speed. When you reduce the fan speed the pressure will go down and it will cycle. It will still shut off but won't jump on and off.
