Stock Manifold removal... Not sure if anyone has addressed this. Removing the driverside manifold from the bottom is a B*tch. I found that on both sides removal of the coil pack is a Good idea. It gives you more room and access to the back Header bolt.
The Stock manifolds came out rather easily from the top.
I didn't see it mentioned in any of the searches I performed on
"Header Installs."
I couldn't get the drivers out the bottom and was about to use C4 on it...
Hope this helps someone about to do a Header install. This was my first on an LS1 and other than meeting resistance with the drivers manifold it went smooth, requiring 5.5 hours.
