Default TSP true dual question?

Ok guys I need long tubes bad! These Macs are choking up my cam, so I was thinking about going with Pacesetter long tubes and TSP's new trual dual system. WHo has this true dual syatem? Do you like it? Is it a true bolt up kit or do I have to get welding done? I will call TSP tomorrow and find out for sure. TIA guys!

They were testing fitting their system a week or so ago on a car with Pacesetter LT's...

Let me be the first to tell you that the bullets that come in the system will be freakin loud..

But you're going the right direction.. Even if you don't go with the TSP system, definitely get true duals..

EDIT: he beat me too it

Z28Vemon has I know of for sure, hes posted picks and other information in 'External Engine'. I like his set up and intend on similar if not exact same thing for my car. Apparently its quite loud with the muffs that come with it so I hear. But so far it seems to be growing well in popularity.

got 'em, love 'em, and would certainly recommend 'em . Yes, it's loud but I'm running a 427 with an S1 cam and you can hardly hear it a block or two away .

At the price TSP is asking for this custom set up, if it's too loud you can change out the bullets with a quieter muffler or add a couple more muffles before the "x".

the hanger at the end of the bullet mufflers need to be welded/bolted to the chassis. I had my shop tap it and bolt it. BTW, no rattles or vibration…solid and it sounds mean. again if it's too loud, for the $$$ you save on this you can switch/add mufflers later.

it comes with all the clamps.

they're Jet Hot LT's. I don't use a flange but the kit comes with those wrap clamps (not sure of the actual terminology).

I want to know this too. I also have Kooks LT's and really want these. It can't be much different. I'm thinking if they don't bolt right up a decent shop should be able to fab up some extensions. And if they're too long, you can cut them yourself.

But you will pay a lot more for a system running to the rear with tips.

shouldn't be, i have ran two true dual setups on my car and will NEVER go back to an off-road y-pipe setup again because of that.
Ok guys I need long tubes bad! These Macs are choking up my cam, so I was thinking about going with Pacesetter long tubes and TSP's new trual dual system.
Did the same thing, I had MACs too and they were great for my bolt-on car, but since I knew the H/C were going to be done I wanted to switch to LT's and for the price the Pacesetters are a great buy. I also have the old ones where you have to notch the K-member and stuff, but took care of all those little issues and had a true dual setup put on and the sound is amazing. I think there might be a sound clip on the LS1Sounds web site with some Pacesetter and true duals. You can't go wrong with a good true dual setup. Have you had a chance to talk to anyone at TSP yet?

I'm gonna call Brian and order the new exhaust. I have bullets with dumps coming straight out of my headers. I'm sure the new exhaust is still gonna be loud, but anything is better then my current exhaust. I come home at 0400 on the weekends after racing/cruising and **** my neighbors off to no end. Though not lately....blown motor. They may think I sold the car.......silly neighbors, the new motor will knock the pictures off of thier walls.

What kind of ground clearance do you have with this setup, and how do they connect to the headers? I have hooker long tubes. Do you have to cut off the flange to have a slip fit, or does the kit come with one?
