1999 trans am motor mounts

I am in the process of putting a new ls3 stroker in my TA. I forgot to note the orientation of the motor mounts. I put in poly mounts also. One side of the motor mount is flush and the other side has what I would describe as an extension or a part sticking out. Should the "extension" part of the motor mount face the front on both sides? I am attaching a picture of the way I have it now. I would like to know if it's right before putting the motor in. Any help would be appreciated.

The "longer" end of the insert points towards the front of the car on the passenger side and towards the rear of the car on the driver side when correctly installed.
