Default Poly engine mounts?????

Of course since my Jet hot lt's and hooker modded Y were installed my Y bangs the floor. Should I get poly mounts or does GM offer 1le's? I had the "ghetto" motorcycle ratchet strap in place but it ran behind the steering rack and I could feel that affect my steering on WOT. I couldn't figure a better way to route it. I was thinking one poly mount on one side and see how that does. When I had the poly trans mount in, that lasted the 30 minute drive home before I yanked it off.

Get the poly's. The restrict the engine movement a little more than the 1le's.

I searched for lle's and couldn't find them anyway. Went to 1le.net and didn't see a part # listed. I hope they don't make the awful sound the trans mount did.

Wishing I had the extra cash to have bought some when I did my headers. At least I know my way around the engine bay very well now. I was thinking trying the dr side only first. Thanks Lynda.

Is this hard to do? How long did it take you to put them in? Why would you/did you ONLY do the DS?
Thanks

I think it would take quite a bit longer to put one in from scratch, but we already had the headers off, so it wasnt too bad. We only put the drivers side in because we are also trying to keep as much vibration out as possible, with one poly in and one stock one in, you have a little more give than having both poly in.

Some peaple likes there car to sound like a hot rod but if you like to feel a hot rod then the ProThaine mount is what you want.and if you have a loop cam then you car will shake the ground.I love mine it stiffend up the motor, and i put one on the trans ,now the exhaust don't move ,but the whole car does.I have a big cam to 595"-600"/232-236/110LSA .I put them on both pass/driver side.
