I have an L33 I am building for a 2005 Silverado single cab. I plan on using a 4l60. was wondering if anyone knows the best place to find a wiring harness for the 24x. looking for a complete harness and PCM

You can use the stock one.

Right now my truck has the 4.3. So could I just buy the harness for the 2005 with a 5.3 and then get that cam sensor extension since it's on the front timing cover?

Harness for the L33 set up? And I'm not sure man this is my first LS swap so I'm trying to kinda figure this stuff out as I go. I would imagine like 200-250??

Cam sensor didn't get moved to the front cover until the Gen 4.

If the cam sensor is in the front cover, its not an L33.

Well I know that the cam sensor is on the front cover and I guess I was just mislead thinking that it was the L33. So got any idea what kind of 5.3 it is?

Seems to be a common problem, people think that every aluminum 5.3 is an L33 even though there are several of them.

Is it infact an aluminum block? Does it have a VVT solenoid or DoD valley cover?

I believe it might be the VVT because the valley cover had a sensor on it. And yes I'm 100% it's aluminum

Post some pics and block casting # ..... probably is a LH6 . Do have the complete vin # of truck it came from ?
