Kooks Header/Y Pipe install noises???

Kooks Header/Y Pipe install noises??? Just had the speed shop install my kooks long tubes headers and y-pipe and now have a popping noise during mild acceleration and when you hit a bump. I found the headers had a 2mm gap between it and the k member. Trimmed the k member and took it for a second test drive, noise kinda settled except for the popping noise and squeaking from the rear(probable from the old muffler bushings/grommets). Any one have any issues after header pipe install? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I put kooks + y pipe on last year myself. I don't notice any 'contact' banging noise, but honestly I don't care b/c that's what you get with long tubes, not much clearance, and more exhaust noise compared to the stock manifolds. I did have a little leaking at all the joints and I got a little bit of backfire off throttle now and then. I used some gasket material around all the clamps and that helped quiet it down somewhat. It's less hiss-y and less backfire, but still loud. Mine had enough clearance around the k member when installed.

Sadly the Quality Control (QC) at Kooks has been getting worse and worse. Sucks too because I love their products, but if customer support and QC are going downhill it's not worth the headache when so many other companies are willing to do whatever they can to make their customers happy.
