LS6 Intake??

Is there a way to tell the differance between the ls6 intake from an ls1 intake when its on the car?

the EGR would be the obvious sign. that is if were talking about fbodies.

Yes if it's clearly off of an F-body but if you just have one out of a car it can be more difficult to go solely by the EGR thing because C5 LS1 intakes ('97-'00) didn't have EGR either....look at the bottom and see if it's more of a flat surface or more of a 'wavey' bottom (area in between the intake ports that is).
Flat is LS6, wavey is LS1.

Flat is LS6, wavey is LS1.

Thanks guys, I didnt know, I thought some LS1s came without the EGR
