I have an 04 5.3 and I ordered all corvette accessories and brackets for it so everything would line up, yes a balancer as well, and I have an issue with the water pump. It appears that my water pump is making contact with the timing cover before the points are completely flush on the block.

Has anyone else had this problem? From what I read this should bolt right up?! The water pump is a brand new gates.
