Default Tach signal

Having issues with my tach on my swaped 6.0 in my c10. I have a digital tach with input from the ecm but it seems to only be reading half the value it should. Anybody els run into this?

Try setting the tach to 4 cylinder mode

It does not apear my tach has the option for 4 6 8 cyl. Or i would have teyed that. This tach was it rhe truck when i bought it so i dont have any info on it. I dont know brand at all.

Went on hpt click engine. Click general. Tach output is on the right. Was at 6. I went to 12 that was the wrong way went to 3 and my tach matched up witj the tach in the scaner. Hope this helps
