Default Knock sensors

I didn't see a sticky on this but think it should have one maybe. I am going to be replacing them in my 98, on rockauto, there are listings for a 2nd design. What's the difference? I hate mail order parts, but for the price, worth it as long as i receive what i need. In the pics on their page, they all seem to look alike... So what's the 2nd design all about???
thx in advance

98 knock sensors were too sensitive and pulled timing. Later ones were calibrated better.

The new style sensors require the matching new style harness.
