hope this is the right place to ask this . I just bought a 99 z28 camero . that has a squires turbo with a 5 lb spring in it . the motor is gone .I would like to know what is the best motor to replace it with . I am not looking to make killer power just reliable power with longevity . I have never worked with one of these motors before . most of my knowledge about chevy motors is with the lt5 motor I have in my 90 corvette .could use some guidance on what to buy or build .thanx for your help in advance

Head studs, LS9 head gaskets, injectors with great data, a tune that is spot on. Don't bullshit with the tune and it should make for some repetitive fun.
