Default speed engineering headers and y pipe

Looking at ordering these

not sure 1 3/4" or 1 7/8"

anyone fitted them with standard 1999 engine

(have magnaflow rear section and free mods and slp hood)

what results?

Would 1 7/8" loose a lot of torque?

thanks
Scott

Being that close to stock, you wont gain from the 1 7/8 over the 1 3/4.

Go with the 1 7/8. I have the 3/4 and wish I had the larger primaries even with the stock engine for now. They won't hurt anything other than your wallet.

That's what I was thinking as there is only a small price differance
Was thinking probably losing a touch of low down power wouldn't hurt performance as it would help grip

I have there 1 7/8 headers on a bolt on car and love them. Perfect fit. If you are considering upgrading your exhaust at the same time instead of the y pipe you make want to consider the speed engineering true duals for the largest increases.
