Default Knock sensor issues?

I recently did a 243 swap along with valve seals, longtubes, new o2s.. and pretty much every sensor and gasket aside from coolant temp including new AC Delco knock sensors for an 01 fbody.

I swapped the knock sensors and a brand new wiring harness for them and they're acting as if they have failed. I get no code for them at all, but every time the car hits PE it pulls the 6° max retard I have set up. I've read this is what happens if they fail.

I was wondering what I should do. Hopefully someone can chime in and give me some help, thanks in advance.

To anyone else that may run into a similar issue, I just tuned the knock sensor failure codes out with hptuners. They still work like they should but don't go into "failure" or "safe" mode and pull a bunch of timing in PE.

I had problems with fake ac delco sensors that caused me worlds of headaches. I bought new ones from gm..and all the issues were solved. The fake sensors broke in my valley cover! Thats how bad things got for me chasing down damn knock sensor woes..swapping harnesses..testing 3 different ecu's, after 4 amazon fake delco parts..my car ran perfect again.

I got mine from Rock auto, they seem to be legit AC Delcos. I got it working to my satisfaction though, so it's all good.

When you install them you have to be very careful to torque them properly to spec. If you don't they won't work properly.

Where in HP tuners did you tune them out? I have the same thing Happening. 80kpa and it pulls 5* no matter wat. I know I can lower that value but I heard with things like headers etc u just need to tune down the sensitivity so they can still pull timing. I'm boosted so knock is bad for me.

Can u post screenshots of the tables and values? Or list the tables and the values u used?

If you disable the codes the sensors still work, possibly not as or maybe more sensitively they just don't pull the timing as soon as PE hits for the code. I'll take some shots in a few mins.
