Default Ideas on issue

2000 WS6 with 120K on it

Haven't had the car long but to make it short and sweet I have crap long tubes on the car that are leaking before the 02's im sure. Car ran sluggish through the gears and when I changed MAF it helped a good bit. At WOT it seems very rough, it moves but rough feeling. I have codes P0171 and P0175. No cats and just the two 02's. I went to pass someone on the way to work and I noticed at WOT it poured alot of smoke out of the exhaust. Looked to be white smoke but the sun was coming up and it was really hard to tell the color.

The car does not smoke any other time and the oil and coolant look great. Just wanting to get some ideas from others.

The P0171 code means that, on the first bank of the engine, the fuel system is running weak or a vacuum leak exists near this side of the engine. A lean condition occurs when the engine either receives too little fuel or too much air.

P0175 indicates that the Engine Control Module (ECM) detects too much fuel and not enough oxygen in the air fuel ratio (AFR). This code will set when the ECM can not compensate for the amount of air or fuel required to return the air fuel ratio back to the set parameters.

Thank you for any help, I was going to change to a much nicer exhaust to see if this fixes the issue but plan on repairing this issue all at once if it is more than just that.

Exhaust leaks can really ruin power, the primary 02 sensors cant get up to temperature and can get cooler air back into the exhaust and really cause the car to run like crap.

A minor exhaust leak can cause a p0300 code, major exhaust leaks can cause absolute hell

Are you running a catch can? LS motors are notorious for sucking in oil at WOT and sending smoke out the back.

Check to see if you have a vacuum leak anywhere. Spray brake cleaner at all of the vacuum hoses and intake manifold while the car is running.
