Intake Manifold
Intake Manifold Okay, for the record, I did a search first, but since everybody and their mom has a Z06 Intake Manifold in their F-body, I couldn't track down exactly what I wanted to know. I have a 2000 Z w/ lid, cutout, flowmaster, and TR's "Old Man" cam. (215/220 .600/.523 115) Is the manifold really worth the 15 rwhp SLP says it is? Worthy purchase, or only one of those "nice to have" items? 
yes the manifold is worth 10-15rwhp with a cam and accompionied bolt ons. i dont think the slp unit is worth the money but if you plan to keep your egr its one of the few options you have.
I don't know what SLP is charging for them. When they were brand new I picked mine up for $400, including the coolant lines, plugs, etc. If you're not in a terrible hurry, you might want to wait see what happens with the new LS2 intake. I don't see how it could NOT be less expensive than the LSX. Of course, you'll need a different throttle body to go with the LS2.

LS2 manifold is this manifold in the making or does it allready exit,( is it a GM part)?
I think the LSX is way over priced.
EGR or no EGR SYS. HEARD no power increase just cleans up motor area?
