so everyone goes looking for the ls6 why dont people run the tb ss intake and pick up alot more tq and a couple more ponies

Most of the ls applications on tech are car and will necessitate a car style intake. Perf trucks is made for the truck guys.

Buying a 90/92mm tb and adapter and bracket is more $$ as well. the ls6 goes nearly directly in place of the ls1 intake, minus egr.
The tbss intake uses ls2 height inj and trying to use ls1 inj still needs the larger base o ring like a fast92/102 needs and rail spacers.

You also lose hp production in the upper rpm due to the longer runner even with possibly more plenum area.

For the dbw truck guys you need the torq rush adapter for the 78mm 3 bolt to the 87mm 4 bolt even and the tb.

Truck intakes wont fit under fbody windshield cowls without cutting which most people are not willing to do.

It would likely take cutting the hood or using a taller cowl also plus tb alignment is way off.
