Potentially silly TPS sensor question.
Potentially silly TPS sensor question. So I've been dealing with issues from my H/C/I 98 Z28 for the longest and most likely the issue is fitment of the TPS sensor in the Ebay throttlebody I bought. Will replacing the TPS sensor cause any issues with the car's tune or functionality with the car's nitrous WOT switch? My understanding is everything is setup through the PCM but I want to make absolutely sure before changing out sensors especially with nitrous involved.
TPS Sensor Voltage Hi Whisper, one EASY method is the measure the TPS voltage, before AND after replacement.
When they are equal, the report to the EMS will be EQUAL.

Do you know if there is any cause or likely chance that voltage will be different with different manufacturers of TPS sensors? AC Delco doesnt make one and the company that manufactures the one I am looking at on Advance is BWD.
TPS Calibration Hi Whisper, CTS Knight made most of the TPS sensors, all OEM (USA) and with MANY aftermarket customers.
AC Delco IS an aftermarket line.
Borg Warner is an aftermarket line.
Both could be imprinted with the CTS "logo".
The art of a "copy" is possible though it would be very hard for a TSP sensor to be manufactured with an incorrect calibration.
NOW WHAT IS EASY is for you to "install" the sensor with incorrect method.
Measure your Closed Throttle Voltage.
Measure your Wide Open Throttle Voltage.
ADJUST the sensor position IF required, "slot" the mounting holes IF necessary.
