Drivabiltiy issues
PCM is a 0411, drive by cable unit, Harness is brand new, deleted the rear 2 O2's and the EGR.
I have the P0134 and P01054 codes on the O2's. I am using the 2002 Z28, LS1 O2 sensors. Voltage stays at .445
P0332 code - low voltage on the knock sensors (both banks)
Now a P1336 code after swapping the PCM - CKP relearn code. Taking care of that this weekend.
What I have done so far: Verified PIN positions at the O2's and the PCM. Verified continuity on the O2's and the knock sensor harness, Verified knock sensor Mv @ .100 for each sensor (range is .93-107), Verified grounds and body ground strap, added in a ground from engine mount to frame.
Swapped out the PCM, O2s, knock sensors, knock sensor harness. All with no change. This is leaving me in closed loop, with a rich running condition and poor MPG (about 17, s/b in the 23-24 range).
At a loss of what to do next.
Other non-functioning items: Cruise control, gas gauge and now I locked out the radio.
Just ran the P/N's on the O2's. Right now I have the '02 Z/28 LS1's in it (Delco AFS98), but the '99 5.3 truck calls for the Delco AFS138. Wondering if this is why they do not turn on.
Other thing is the P1336 Crank relearn code. Heading over to a buddy's house to do the reflash of the PCM (and unlock the stereo). I think this will also cure the P0134/P0154 knock codes. Reading up on what the P1336 does and found that the PCM will throw in a random misfire. That would trip the SES light for a knock. Also pulls the spark advance back and absolutely kills the MPG.
So after chasing these issues since April, would it be best to "Bite the Bullet" and just get the other O2's?
Jim
