lowering car debating going back to y pipe

lowering car debating going back to y pipe I have 2. 5 inch true duals right now dumped at the axle. for the past month i've been battling clearance issues, bad welds, this and that...it just wasn't done right. I finallyfound a reputable shop to fix the work done to the exhaust but i will be lowering my car via eibach pro kit and im debating if i should skip the under the axle exits and just go back to a y pipe set up.
if i were to do this i have pacesetter headers, would i be able to get a decent Y pipe from one of our sponsers that fit the pacesetters and doesnt bang like their y pipe? Will i have any added clearance over the true duals from teh axle forward?
I've been thinking of a new set up that would be an off road y pipe, to a chambered muffler in the I pipe over the axle (kinda a chambermouth?) what are your thoughts fellas?

With 2.5" true duals dumped at the axle you should be able to lower your car without any issues.
SSONYOURSIX actually has Borla XR-1 mufflers that are tucked up in the rear seat area and his car is fine.
If you want to run true duals and lower your car, just be sure to have the muffler as close to the driveshaft and t/a that you can safely get them. Just make sure to get them tucked tight.
I'm having my mufflers moved in and tucked so that I can lower my car.
