ARP intake bolts for TBSS intake?
I've found ARP part number 130-2001 shows up on ARP's site as the right number, but I've seen reviews saying they don't fit the truck intakes.
I have all of the stock bolts from my L33, but I'm doing a cam swap on this engine before stuffing it into my '82 S10 and am replacing a lot of the bolts with ARP while it's out. I don't mind reusing the stock bolts if that's the best choice.
Thoughts?
I did the same thing as you and ordered a Gen4 LS 12-Point Stainless Steel bolt kit which includes: Front and rear covers, Valley Cover, Motor Mounts, Exhaust Manifolds, Starter, Oil Pan, Valve Cover, Coil Brackets and Coils, Water Pump and Thermostat Housing. I also ordered the Harmonic Damper bolt, Flexplate, Torque Converter, Oil Pump, Cam Timing Sprocket, Rod, Main Studs, and Head Studs. The kit also came with the 430-2101 intake manifold bolts, they do not work and are not even the right length needed.
I do not recommend the ARP Valve Cover Bolt kit for stock Valve Covers, they do not have the alignment sleeve and the valve cover can slide around a little and cause a leak.
ARP 130-2001/430-2001/130-2101/430-2101 will not work, in the instructions for that kit it states it wont work with a Truck Style Intake Manifold.
