Default Crank/cam sensor wires burnt.

Hi All
The new headers for my LS1 are very close to the wires for Cranks/cam sensor by starter motor and look damaged/burnt from old headers. Can i cut and lengthen the wires to reroute away from the heat. I am pretty good with a soldering iron but will the added resistance cause problems.
Thanks

They can be lengthened. Just be sure to make good connections, but I think you know that already.

You are fine. Test the connection when Complete. Try to keep it under 1.5 ohm.
