Default MAF swap created P1514 Error

Looking for some words of advice here today. So this morning I went down to change my MAF in an effort to try and squelch a P0101 code

long store short, when I replaced it and buttoned everything up, the truck backfired and threw a P1514 when I went to start it.

the truck was running perfectly up until I swapped the MAF, now it doesn't run correctly regardless of which one is in there.

MAF is new
TAC / Throttle Body is Brand new
Map Sensor is new
Both 02 Sensors are new

what would cause this to happen over simply swapping a MAF???

Was it running well with all the other new sensors installed? Or were they all installed at once, then it ran crappy?

So i went out and started really picking around the engine compartment. Turns out that giant backfire through the intake was a lot more than a backfire. Now to figure out the WHY and which new intake I should get.
