What do I need to remove ASR?
I hate it, and I want it gone. Other than a throttle cable from a non ASR car, and having it turned off in my PCM, what do I need? Thanks guys! Oh yeah, 99 SS M6 if that matters.

You cant program it out on the PCM using anything thats out there now to my knowledge.
I just bought the non ASR throttle cable and if you are keeping your cruise you will have to swap cables on it I'm sure - I dumped the cruise module also so I cant say what needs to be done to make the cruise work.
I just blocked off the lights in the cluster, they are LEDs so you just cant 'remove the bulbs,' instead I took off the gauge face and stuck some foam in the proper little light tunnels. As far as I know the ABS still worked fine with the ASR module unplugged but I dumped the ABS a while back and I dont remember if it worked or not..
I used the on/off button for my nitrous purge
