What intake manifold?
When I bought my first Camaro over 10 years ago. It was popular to swap on an LS6 intake. Or if you had more money a FAST 78 or 90/90.
I did the former with the LS6 intake.
Fast forward to today and I’ve just picked up a stock 6 speed 1999 z28.
What are the popular intake swaps these days? I assume there is better than the LS6. Or is that still a good way to go? I need something to support a full bolt-on build with a cam only setup. Looking at sellers website there seems to be much more choice.
I need some guidance please.

The LS6 is still a great manifold for mostly stock engines. And 243 heads are still great heads, even better with a good port job. Top it off with a good cam and exhaust and you will have a runner!

Depends on what you want to spend,LS6 intakes can be had pretty cheap, lots are around for a few hundred bucks. My car came stock with one ('01SS) so I so far have kept it considering the cost of a FAST 92 and throttle body for the amount of gain.
$1200-$1400 is a lot of money for 20-25 hp.
243 heads can be had pretty reasonable compared to something like Trickflows, see them anywhere from $300-$600 all the time.
I spent a little more for mine, real deal Z06 heads with the lightweight valves and only 40k miles but still far less than half the cost of something better.
I made 398rwhp/385rwtq with just a cam/lifters/springs upgrade and those heads and a set of headers out of my otherwise stock LS1 with the stock LS6 intakes and TB.
