stupid question here, but is there a reason for different runner lengths, or is this just showing off the possible runner lengths available?

i don't see how varying runner lengths in the same manifold could help.

but, i would like to think that this setup might combine the benefits of a larger plenum of the high-ram and sheetmetal intakes with the longer runners of more conventionally designed intakes. i would like to see dyno numbers soon.

I have a feeling that is a demo to show runner lengths. But I remember seeing something similar in the sixties on Hilborn injection setups on BBC's in CanAm racing. That might have been because of the weird BBC ports which were 2 different lengths, though.

At high rpm you use cylinders 1,2,7,8. At low rpm you use 3,4. Easy!

Couldn’t resist. Single plane intake runners are not equal lengths and they do ok. But it probably is just a demo thing

I would have thought there would be more variation between runner lengths, but maybe not much change is needed to effect powerband variation.

I don't see those tallest runners fitting in the back with the way the top slopes, so I'm hoping that's just for display. I'd be interested to see different tops, maybe ones fitted for dual 4150's.

It was engineered between Fast and Performance Design, kindof like the MSD Atomic LS7 manifold.

It should make significantly better power than a Hi-Ram. Should be on the website soon.

I dont think so... The FAST demo piece looked like it was 3D printed. The performance design top looked like he just wrapped a 3D printed top with a layer of carbon.
