Aussie here LS1/ls2 questions I have a LS1 that needs a new intake manifold as my current ls6 style one is cracked at the back and not suitable for the 232 244 cam i got going in and reco stock heads
I got told the LS2 intake will fit but i need a 92mm throttle body (cable driven) and a LS2 fuel rail but i can reuse my ls1 injectors (2001+ model)
Can anyone else confirm? the ls2 intake i can get a hold of is "cheap" here at 350aud shipped

The LS6 makes more power than the LS2. You would be far better off going back with another LS6 or going to a FAST 90 or 92.
The LS1 injectors are longer and skinnier than the LS2. I think they make an adapter O ring that is fatter to adapt the LS1 injector to the LS2 manifold but I'm not 100% sure you'll have to look. Also if you try to use the LS1 rail on the intake you'll also have to do some modifying of the mounts for the different length etc.
You'll want to look for a 90mm throttle body. The LS2 throttle body is a 90
You'll need a throttle cable adapter bracket to run drive by cable on the LS2
You'll need injector wire harness conversion clips, the LS1 and LS2 have different connectors.
I'd look for a used fast 90 or 92 and then reuse your LS1 fuel rail and injectors and buy a throttle body. The cost may come out to around the same as having to buy new injectors and all the conversion pieces

No problem. If you can fit a truck manifold they can be found with rails and injectors pretty cheap sometimes, but you would still need to do some adapting depending on which truck intake depends on the amount of adapting.
That LS6 will work well with a cam and stock heads. So grab another one of those or shop for a used fast 90
