Default Part number on ls7 lifters
Looking for a part number for ls7 lifters
putting prc heads and want to replace my ls1 lifters
I found this number can anyone conform

What makes LS7 lifters better than LS1 lifters. Why are they the preferred lifter for the LS engines?

I believe it's more of a performance-oriented lifter, resists pump-up better, which allows higher revving without the valve float it can cause.

LS1 lifters are discontinued and replaced with the LS7 lifters

LS1 lifters have an ear on both sides of roller. The LS7 has a completely enclosed design around the roller. A much better design.
