Default Ls2 GTO spark plug issue

I changed all plugs except cylinder 2. The socket just keeps spinning and seems it won't grab the plug.

i don't know if it's rounded off or if debris is in the way. Here is a pic is this a grommet or just grime???

Looks like the plug hole is filled with crud. You may not even be engaging the hex head on the plug.

KCS could easily be right about crud, but to my eye, it kinda looks like a rubber grommet of some kind. Either way, as said, the socket might not be engaging the plug hex.

If you look real close it is the same height as the hex on the plug. Your socket is not engaging.

Looks like rubber to me since there is a perfectly clean spot behind one side of the hex with sharp lines. Dirt doesn't usually coat all around then have a perfectly clean spot.

Get a pick and dig it out. If you have compressed air pick at it then blow it.

It looks like a piece of the spark plug wire boot that tore off... Dig it out of there.

Take air and blow it out. Quick and easy!
