a few chrs1313 have been up in the classifieds. car currently has the slp kit with slp lid. not interested in changing lids until i get a bigger intake/tb. will i gain anything decent just changing the lower portion out for the chris?

I figured it would be to do so because i have no ac now. So even if the non ac 1313 was the same as the slp, which i think the 1313 is a lil better, id see benefits from going to the larger non ac. I may just pick one up later after i get the car retuned and dynod. Than swap it and at the next dyno day see my gains and post back. 5 hp for 110 bucks isnt bad.

Well just remember you may not see the full hp gains on the dyno due to the nature of the mod.

One thing I recently did to my SSRA was I sealed it as much as possible. Took a leaf blower to the bottom scoop and then sealed any areas where I felt air escape. Might wanna consider that for the best possible result

I'd suggest not doing this on a street car due to the possibility of sucking water into the engine.
