Going to 85mm Maf help

I have a 2002 Trans Am and trying to switch from the stock maf to the 85mm. I went with the recommended maf that my future tuner told me to get. Anyway I bought the 3 pin to 5 pin adapter that doesnt work.

Has anyone else run into this? Do i need to get a diffrent adaptor? Wrong Maf? And how hard is it to change out this connection piece just so I don't have to send it back. Thanks guys

I think you got the ls7 maf adaptor. Looks like you need the ls6 adaptor

Looks like you made the same mistake i did and bought the wrong one.

I sold that one(after it sitting for about 4 months) and grabbed the WS6 Store unit. Great piece
