Default 3k+ vibration ls1 engine

Long story short I built a stock bottom end ls1 . Put new speed pro pistons on and fresh rings with fresh bearings. Reused original crank and rods. Engine has maybe 1k on it now and it vibrates pretty good starting at 3k rpm but the worse is 3500 and up. Engine is solid mounted with poly engine and trans mounts . It's hooked up to a th400. I had a converter built by a local shop that makes them custom and balances them. For the first 1k miles I never really noticed any excessive vibration just standard solid
mounted engine vibrations.

The engine vibrates in any gear and moving or not moving. It's 100% rpm related.

Im running a "tick flow" balancer sfi rated. I believe it's a rebranded pro race balancer. What steps should I take to try and figure out my problem? I was thinking . Buy an oem balancer first since it's easiest to swap. Then I guess pull engine /trans and take my converter back to shop and check balance. What are the chances of it being an internal engine problem with only switching pistons ? I can drive all day under 3k and it's normal feeling. Any help or opinion is appreciated.

Unbolt the torque converter, push it back from the flex plate and see if the vibration has gone away.

I had a similar issue with a "new" balancer I put on my engine new engine, I swapped out for my known good 200k mile balancer and those vibrations went away completely. I also think bbond's idea is good to try too.
