Default Coolant Hose?

Done the BMR throttle body bypass mod on my 2000 SS. Don't like the way it sits so close to the pulley. Does anyone know where I could get a hose long enough with the right bends in it so I don't have to use the adapter? I know this may not help with the clearance of the pulley but when Fast98 mentioned it I was wondering where he got his. Would really like to go that route if I know where to get a hose that will work. If anyone knows where he got his please let me know! Also what size is that hose and is it the same size opening on both ends? Thanks!

If you really want to do this mod (because it won't do anything for you performance wise) I'd suggest not going across the water pump pulley under the TB but instead route it across the back of the radiator. Using a 3/8" reinforced fuel line, and run out from the coolant line on the pass side head, forward out to the main radiator return line that runs horizontally across the radiator, and over to the connection for the TB coolant return at the top of the pass side of the radiator. Instead of running under the bellows/TB and next to the water pump pulley, run out and across the back of the radiator.

You may need to join the 3/8" fuel line with a smaller 5/16" line - the 3/8" line will work fine for the radiator connection but the driver side head coolant line connection is smaller. Definately use hose clamps on both connections to keep them snug. Secure the newly routed line with nylon pullties to keep it from moving around.

This way there's no possibilty of a coolant line ruptured by rubbing the water pump pulley leaving you stranded on the side of the road.

Good luck,

I got a piece fo fuel line, and loped it around one of the line that's next to the coolant entry side of the throttle body, then routed the lie under the front of the intake, and then around to the radiator. I zip tied it to the A/C lins that's there to hold it away from the belt. I have had it there for a few months, and I checked the lne to make sure th engine heat wasn't damaging the line, everything was cool. Looks very factory, like it came that way.
