4l80e question Can I get rid of the sensor/control unit that my shift rod goes thru?
When I built the harness that plug got eliminated so I know nothing is being reported from it. Just didn't know it it was used for anything else like to support the rod of something like that.
Also I pulled the pan today and it was pretty clean! Magnet had a little material on it and the filter looked pretty clean too. I was going to throw some alto clutches in there but now I'm wondering if I need to spend the cash or not. Going to do the HD2 kit and was going to include the springs upgrade to so I figured while I was in there I should do those as well.
Honestly I really don't know what I'm getting into here, plenty of engine, suspension, and electrical work but never dig into a trans too deep. Only did shift kits to VB....
