are qtp's really worth the extra $$$?i know you get what u pay for, but even jrp said that they all dyno within the same range....whats the difference?i just think i can get pacesetters and save enuf to get a cam also....(almost)....thanks.

Yes they're worth it, they may or may not make more power but they WILL be made better, last longer and look better IMO...personal preference really.

go take a look at some flowtechs and then look at a set of kooks/qtps and you'll know why theres a couple hundred dollars price differnce. research flowtech and pacesetter installs and banging issues, then do the same for kooks qtps. go and try and find people going from kooks/qtps to flowtechs or pacesetters, then try and find the opposite.

if you have the money then spend it on the kooks or qtp's. going cheap in the short run often costs you more in the long run.

If you do the install yourself, then you will definitely find out why you want quality headers - it's a job I don't want to do again.

I had the Hooker LT's and they failed after 20 months. I bought the QTP's and they are 1000x better. They do not bang on anything and have lots of ground clearance. The welds were much better and can't beat 304 stainless steel. Cermanic coating is not worth the money on any header and it was flaking off my Hooker LT's. Do the job right from the start and get the QTP Headers.
