Theres a guy selling a sikky swap kit for 3k with the harness but his is for an ls2 and i want to swap an lq4-lq9 for the iron block to boost. Is there any way to make it work or is it better to get an all new harness for the lq's

The LS2 is a Gen IV engine and the LQ9 is a GenIII engine. The major hurdle will be addressing the cam sensor and knock sensors which are different/in different locations. I think you can just change out the timing set and front cover to use the newer LS2 cam gear and cam sensor. You could rewire the LS2 harness to route the knock sensor connectors to under the intake manifold or you could relocate the knock sensors by tapping the sides of the block.
