problem putting cheapy plugs in my c5 for some testing? I want to see if my plugs are giving me problems. They sell a BOSCH-SUPER that is .99 and they say its for the vette. I want to throw them in do some cyl. misfire testing then maybe take it to the track. I have an ever so slightly rough idle and i dont recall if i had it stock. Im wondering if maybe my mech cracked a plug when he did my clutch and pulled the header off. he seems like a very careless person IMO. Anyone know the resistance of the stock wires?

I wouldn't leave them in long, and I wouldn't go down the track with them in. Bosch Supers are bottom of the heap plugs, and theres no guarantee that the heat range would be too safe for WOT blasts.

They should carry NGK's... Only $1.79 each here in Hawaii. So I'm sure that you can get them cheaper where you are.
If you can't get NGK's, look into some of the Autolites..

I just got some cheapies for the time being.
all wires ohmed out ok at 360-365 ohms. The nice suprise was finding 2 denso iridium plugs and 6 ac delco plugs in my car. They all look good, but they are being swapped for some testing.
