The HD2 kit does not have the Teflon band, the rebuild kit did have one but I twisted it on install and could not get it off without breaking it. So now I need to find one.
And google is not being kind, keeps directing me to a reverse servo seal kit.

O ok i see what your saying. U messed up the seal for the 1-2 servo? Call transtar and tell them u need a seal for it. Or reuse the original.
Some kits use the bushing, some do not. Jakes recommended not using the bushing, and not doing the pressure bypass valve. Said they stick and cause other issues.

Another +1 for the old school ratty shops that have been around for years.
Stopped into Tri-city trans in Rochester NH and John the tranny guy hooked me up with a steel ring. Said Teflon is nice but steel is better, he actually had a sleeve of them. And of course it was no charge so I just dropped off a 6pack of lunch.
So back to work so I can button this up then finish the turbo mount.
