Bolt for dipstick tube
Bolt for dipstick tube Reassembling my engine and i'm having a bitch of a time with the bolt that holds the trans dipstick to the back of the passenger side head. I thread the bolt in about 2 turns then run into resistance... Pain to really see anything back there to figure out whats going on with the thread... I made a diy chaser... Should i just put it in there and give it hell?

Almost sounds like you have the wrong bolt somehow? Should be a 10mm std thread by about 20mm long if I'm not too misshapen?
