Default 4l60e help!!!

So I recently have started my build with a 6.0 thats stroked to a 408. But my issue now is the stupid 8mm Allen bolts that are on the 4l60e. I have the ls1 out and the trans is still attached but the problem ia the dozen or so 8mm Allen I used none of then fit there too big so I tried a 7 and 6mm ans they were to small. I also tried standard Allen as well thinking they may have not been metric and non of them work. I am really at a loss what can I do to remove them non of the Allen's work. As anyone else had this issue?

You need to heat them first then hit with an impact. They are standard allen head, nothing special.

I think he meant try SAE allen sockets. Sounds like you need 5/16 or 1/4. It’s been a long time since I have done it
