Valley cover bolt stripped

Hey guys, so I was putting on my valley cover "ICT" brand from summit and one of the bolts stripped out as I was tightening it, I didn't over tighten either tq wrench on 18lbs just the metal on the bolts is very soft so my question is will it be okay to leave it for now as I don't know how tight it got before stripping obvisuoly not 18lbs though all the others was good to go though. And 2nd off if I ever need to remove it how would I go about doing that?

Personally I’d do the fix now, but I’m a perfectionist. Prolly wouldn’t hurt a thing to run it that way however. You might have enough teeth left to utilize an oversized torx bit and get it out. If not, buy yourself a left handed drill bit, and drill it out in reverse. Tape off your intake ports before you attempt this!

weld a small nut on top of it ,or try using a allen wrench that is a tight fit .

Can you dremel a slot in it and get it out with a flathead?

Personally I'd try to get it out now, leave it in there for a few years and it may become a lot more difficult to remove.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I got it out I used a slightly bigger torx bit and wedged it in sideways at a angle a few times and finally got it out, called summit told them what happend they sent me a new one for free so all is good. Thanks everyone for the help.
