Default Cruise cntrl, TCS system delete?

I've relocated the Traction Control unit to behind the PCM but I'd like to get rid of it all together along with the cruise control. Can this be done by using a stock 3rd gen throttle cable and just routing it direct from pedal to throttle body? Does the 3rd gen cable have adjustment on it like the 4th gen cable system does?

Just get the throttle cable for your year without tcs. For cruise delete just don't put the cruise cable on.

You can retain the cruise control and still delete the traction control if you really wanted to. The cruise control is located on the driver frame rail under the abs block. But bammax is right on the throttle cable aspect.

If you want to keep cruise just order the non tcs cruise cable from hawks and swap them out in your cc box. Same for throttle cable. Just get a non tcs throttle cable from them as well. That’s what I done a few months ago

I took out the cruise control box, the TC unit, and all the cables. I ordered GM Throttle Accelerator Cable 12565560. Much cleaner.
