Default Cold Air Intake Selection

So long story short, my build is coming to a completion (for now ) Specs are as listed below

-243s
-Fast 92/92 tb
-Fti SSHT Cam
-All supporting bolt ons/fueling

Pre Throttle body currently is a stock MAF and SLP lid. I do have a 85mm maf that i can put on. Now i know im not doing any crazy numbers, and realistically the regular SLP lid will be enough but i figure why not maximize what i have. So starting with a blank canvas, which intake option should i go with?

-Keep SLP lid
- Get different brand lid
-Either lid with some sort of SSRA/Chris1313 Ram air

-Either lid with a custom "big gulp" ram air

-Chris1313 Prostock with a filter

-KirkEvil Style Ram Air

The car doesnt have any front bumper supports, and already has a cut apart apart bumper, and i dont mind playing with some HVAC material.

I chuckled when I saw the big gulp.....that turns the Camaro image from catfish to Whale Shark! You could suck up small children with that thing.

Would you have a grill over it or would it be open like that? Also how much street driving will you be doing? I can see a rain ruining your engine without some sort of baffle to stop the water from entering the filter and intake.

Go for the big gulp on looks alone ha ha. Obviously with any of those choices besides the lid rain is going to be a issue. An don’t paint it black an boring. Paint some teeth in there!

Are the last two options really a good idea on a street car? Seems more of a track oriented setup, where there'd be no bumps, roadkill, etc, lol

Car will see minimum street duty. Driven to and from track and meets and whatnot. Not many miles a year
