Default Fuel Pressure Regulator???

I have an LM7 5.3L with GenX 205 heads, TFS cam, aftermarket intake, 102mm throttle body, and a Walbro 255lph fuel pump. This is in a 2000 GMC Sierra and I am using the factory fuel lines. If anyone has an opinion I'm looking for recommendations on a fuel pressure regulator. Thanks

A lot of guys use the corvette regulator, and put it up under the cowl, right on the ends of the factory lines. It is a direct fit. All you need from there is a 10” or so line made, with the right ends. I’ve done this myself as well and it works good.
Some will say that it’s a fire waiting to happen, putting the regulator up there. I’m not saying it’s the setup of choice, but lots of guys over on truck forums do it, without issue. The corvette regulator works well with the 255 pump.

The ONLY way a fire would/should happen is if the lines are not made/connected in a strong, safe, accepted way. Nothing half-assed. If it's done right, there should be no problem.

I will look into it! Thank you!

Is there a specific year? Part number?

Wix 33737 filter/regulator. I like Wix products, but any variation will do...
Russell 640940 for regulator
Russell 640853 for fuel rail

youll need a line to go from the regulator, to the fuel rail, with -6 fittings. I recommend PTFE Teflon braided line, with corresponding fittings. Seems like the one I did was 10” long or so, but yours will vary, according to where you mount the actual regulator. I mounted the one I did to the bottom of the cowl, above the drivers side valve cover. It attaches directly to the existing two lines you have. This is a filter and regulator combo. It won’t hurt that you have another filter inline already.
3’ Of the PTFE hose from Summit is $15...shortest length in Summit brand.
The fittings are $11 each. You need two straight -6 PTFE fittings. Summit brand again.
Ive used literally hundreds of feet of the Summit brand PTFE hose without issue.
