Default 90mm induction ideas

Looking to take advantage of my 90mm intake and TB set-up. Right now I have a stock mass air and 75mm lid. I would really like to ditch the lid set-up and just run a cone filter or something of the sort. Is there a better alternative than just runnning a 85mm mass air and lid set-up? Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. I need some more air

There are quite a few people who have fabbed their own intake setups, they usually end up slicin up their front end pretty bad. I don't know what kind of gains you would get, but you could always try and modify a K&N FIPK with a custom bellows to allow some pretty straight thru airflow. There are even a couple people on this board that could probably fabricate you the back end of the filter so it would be 90mm, and then you could get 90mm straight thru bellows. Its worth a try......

Thats exactly what I am talking about. Surely there are people running something like that. Just need to know where to get it or who can fab it? Thanks for the reply

Move the battery to the trunk and mount a 4x9 filter in the hole in the fenderwell. 85mm MAF (MAF wire extensions will be needed) and 4 inch tubing all the way from the filter to the throttle body.

Will flow VERY well and give a good source of cool air.

Battery is already in the trunk Who sells the parts for this? The tubing would have to make almost a 90 degree bend right in front of the throttle body, do you think that would matter? You know anyone running this set-up? What kind of tubing?
