Default Need some help figuring this out

Ive got a 370 trans am I just got finished up. Had valvetrain issues which I got sorted out!
Ive got another problem that arose. When the car got built everything was pretty much replaced. It has a bench tune done by my tuner, for the 42lb injectors it has. Just needs some touching up but the car runs great for the most part. One thing im struggling with is that the car cuts out at different rpms. When it was first started and driven 30 miles (no cutting out), the guys at the shop put a little gas in it. They told me the gas can did have bad gas in it, and that they dumped it out and cleaned the gas can with water. It was cutting out seeming like it was running out of gas at 2000 rpms after the 30 miles was put on it but had gas. You could rev it past that, you could hold it at that rpm or go higher when its in park no issue. Its when its in gear it wants to cut out (built 4l60e). The next time I drove it I had no issue. Made a quick trip to the store in it. No cutting out. The next time, it was running great, then toward me heading home it was cutting out at 4000 rpm. Each time I got home after it was cutting out, I put it in park and revved it to whatever rpm was given me trouble. It wouldn't cut out. I filled the tank up thinking okay maybe it just had bad gas. It started making a weird noise in the back in the cabin. Sounded like a mosquito but more amplified of course. fuel pump? then I thought maybe it could be the tune? Im wanting to see what you guys thought I should look for. No codes either.
It has new spark plugs but for some reason the shop reused spark plug wires?? Maybe this could be it?

Its stock fuel pump. Which does worry me a little but I was waiting for it to go out before I replace it. Id imagine im around 450ish rwhp now.
Last I checked it was fine. No issue. But that was when we weren't really having any issues with it cutting out.

I mean, if the FP making weird noises thats where I'd start. I'd look into a new pump capable of your goals, as well as fuel pump upgraded harness. Also an aftermarket fuel pressure gauge comes in handy especially when diagnosing issues like this.

What they said and I would replace the fuel filter.
No telling what's in the fuel filter after that can of bad gas. An obstructed fuel filter can cause issues.

It was good. No issues there either according to the gauge I have.

Took it out again today and car didnt cut out at all. Fuel pump wasn't making any noise and then started to get worse as I kept driving. It was so loud you can hear it in the car and out, WITH the cutout open lol and the car is pretty damn loud. I think im going to schedule to get in with a shop to get fuel pump replaced. Its probably time. I just don't understand how sometimes it will make noise and sometimes it takes awhile for it to.

Well I got some news. It WAS the fuel pump. The gauge was showing it dropping around 20 at WOT. I was told that wasn't good. ordering a Racetronix 255 right now

Nice. At least it's a straight forward fix. I still recommend the upgraded fuel harness, or wiring it yourself with a thicker gauge. Should be a writeup somewhere.
