Exhaust and headers 98LS1formula
any exhaust recommendations? Do not want the old loud thrush muffler type. Had the corsa on a previous ls1 vette and liked that sound.
Is it worth the power gain and cost adding the headers? Type?
Does that change the exhaust sound much?

Hopefully, a mod will move the thread to Gen 3 External Engine where it will probably get more attention.
In the meanwhile, there's a sticky in the Gen 3 External Engine with a lot of information that maybe interesting. Some of the links are old and don't work so staring toward the end of the thread and working back is probably best.

I like the Hooker Blackhart true dual exhaust. I have one on my 99TA. Hooker also makes a matching set of headers both 1 3/4 and 1 7/8 primary. We cobbled up a custom x pipe to set up with my Kook's LT's and I'm happy.
