Good day

I'm looking for info regarding holly tall LS valve covers , I'd like to get some taller ones for the 1.8rrs going on .....any fitment, clearance issues ( alternator) that I should be concerned about before I purchase them ....they're on sale right meow . Cars an 02 ws6.

Look at your engine now and visualize taller valve covers on it. You should be able to tell if taller ones would hit the alternator.

He mentioned the alternator as a possible interference point. Is the alternator even close to the valve cover on an 02 WS6?

yeah lol idk ..... I'm a noob to ls1 fbody ...



Im currently working 650 kms from home so i cant take a peek unfortunately.

Keep your stupid condescending comments to yourself a**hole .......if you read what I posted ....which you clearly didnt I'm currently working 650km from home which is 403.89 miles since you cant read I'd assume you cant do the conversion either ......having said that how do you suppose I open my hood ?? . So SYH to that . And FYI its spelt Canadian EH!!!!

Quite so, and I apologize. I was too rough. I will help by advising the OP to look at the engine in his car to see where the alternator is along with anything else that actually is in the way of tall valve covers. OP, I ask your forgiveness.
BTW, had you told us in the first post that you were working far from home, instead of editing it into a later post would have avoided the misunderstanding that occurred here.

OP, yella terra makes a 10mm thick valve cover gasket that may get you the clearance you need for your rockers
