Water in catch can?

Water in catch can?
I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. I recently installed my first catch can, it's the small Corvette mods one that goes between the PCV valve and intake. Car sat for atleast a month outside under my car port (on gravel), weather has been hot and cold, rain and snow. I've never used a catch can befor.
Drove it today and expected to see oil in the catch can but instead saw water. Hoping it's just condensation from not being driven, temp gauge is happy as can be. What threw me was how clear the water was, plus the thing doesn't hold much but was full. Just drove home from where I went and just checked it and found more water, but dirtier water and less of it.
Any input? I was getting some funny looking exhaust but it went away, idles fine, drives great. Thinking just condensation from not being driven. No idea if a head gasket would show water that clear?

The first time I drained my catch can, I got a liquid that looked more like apple juice than water. It felt oily though. I don't think there is any "wrong" type of fluid to catch. If it goes through the engine, the catch can will catch it. Anything you catch, is better then letting it go through the engine.
