Lokar throttle cable really stiff!?

Lokar throttle cable really stiff!? I installed there cable on my 00 turbo silverado. I had to get a lokar cable bc i swapped to the holley high ram setup. Since installing my throttle pedal seems really stiff. Seems just like an older carb throttle setup.
The factory cable was crazy smooth compared to the lokar setup. Anyone else had issues like this??? It drives my crazy! I like being able to control my throttle feel and responce.
Thinkin of tryin a longer v6 truck cable setup. Im thinkin it should be plenty long to work. Just hate spending money on a high dollar throttle cable tht sucks!

Do you have pictures of your setup? Specifically the pedal connection and the bracket at the throttle. I've used Lokar throttle cables on 3 builds. Pretty sure on one iteration I used a modified stock bracket. After a while, I switched to the Lokar bracket that looks like a little billet version of a woman's play toy. Turns out, that bad boy could adjust angle. I found that very helpful, because by adjusting angle, you can make it so the cable isn't on one wall of the braided tube, but more in the center. That may help if you're binding and fighting some friction there.
While not a high ram, I did have to use that cable for my swap.
I had to grind some on the factory bracket to get the cable further towards the 90* curve of the cable slot in the bracket to prevent bind and wear on the cable (my first one broke quickly due to the wear issue).
I also sprayed some WD40 down in the sleeve and try to do so once or twice a year. No problems since doing those 2 things.
